South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust offers the most diverse range of mental health services within the UK’s NHS. ‘SLaM’ collaborates closely with the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London, and is affiliated with King’s Health Partners Academic Health.

SOLUTION / RESULT

I was tasked with creating a set of posters to aid in informing the client about how to access the Vocational Specialist team.

I came up with the concept of giving a face to the clients of the Vocational Services team. My goal was to visually represent their service, showcasing the advantages of participating in vocational programs. After participating in workshops and interviews with “SLAM” NHS mental health services members, I worked with the Vocational Services Team to create branded ads emphasising the effectiveness of the support services offered, including education, vocational activities, benefits assistance, and advocacy for members.

This was demonstrated by the character and emotions conveyed in the posters.
